July was a blast (no pun intended for the reference to the fireworks). We did finish the book "Hunger Games", we saw the Mackey side of the family, and we are so close to finishing the jean quilt we can almost feel the warmth it will give.
August started off with a trip down to Utah to see family. Time was spent eating delicious food, and visiting. We did get the shocks on our car replaced so now we dont feel every little bump in the road, and it ended up costing us much less than we expected (score one for being thrifty).
Our trip to Teton national ended up being a trip to Yellowstone. We loved it and julianne especially had a good time seeing buffalo, elk, and Old Faithful. We were lucky to arrive at the gyser when we did, because after about 15 minutes it went off. Our friends, who just so happened to e there when we were (the Clarcks) said they had been waiting about an hour. It was cool to see the hot pots, and the beautiful colors of the pools. The drive was gorgeous, we enjoyed every part of the park.
(Pictures will follow, I just dont have them on hand)
