December marked the end of my first year of law school. I am shocked when I look back and think about how much I have learned in one year. I have not had this much growth since my mission. Maybe it is because we had Adam so close to starting Law School, or life caught up with us pretty quickly all at once. Either way, I feel I have grown immensely in the last year. As you can tell, Adam has grown up so much. He has his own personality, and has his father wrapped around his little finger. I have never been so tired at the end of the day as when I spend most of it holding Adam in my arms.
Julianne is busy being a wonderful mother. She has such good motherly instincts. She always knows when it is too quite that Adam is up to something, and she is usually right.
(The picture is first, and then the explanation.)
I dont know what is worse, the fact that dad had a bath robe in this print, or that I chose to wear a stripped shirt underneath it... Obviously this is our family version of the nativity. We (the Splains) were the wise men. (I actually thought it was fitting to play the wise men on this special occasion, it may be the only time anyone calls us "wise" so we had to live it up.) I am proud of the turbans we made, it actually wasnt that hard to do.
What Santa gave me in my stocking. Candy, beef jerky, and cologne.
