Starting a Blog

So Mark and I decided that it was about time that we join the blogging world. He and I both will be authors on the blog and don't be surprised if our entries are very different. I'm excited about it mostly because we will take more pictures so that we can post them. :) We are both on a writing kick lately and this is one more thing that we are excited to write.

Here is an update on the life of the Splains the last few days... Mark finished his semester on Thursday and is so relieved to be done. He worked so hard all semester long and I am so proud of him. It can't be easy to get up and go to school when your wife stays home and pretty much does nothing. He is such a trooper! He now gets to enjoy a fun-filled week of doing whatever he pleases and he deserves it! I finally started working on Friday and I am really excited about the job. I am working for my Sister-In-Law's brother and it is a great job! He is a chiropractor and I act as his assistant and pretty much do whatever he needs me to do. I am hoping still for a nannying job that should start in June as well because they are both part-time positions. Mark still works on campus (at the job where we met) and works while he is in school. We have an awesome ward with an amazing Bishopric. There are a lot of young couples who also don't have children yet that we like to spend time and play games with. We love being married and we can't imagine being happier than we already are. We hope you enjoy the blog!
