Day #2

I am SO grateful for my husband!!!  That is the understatement of the century.  Mark Splain is the most incredible man I have ever met.  He has grown so much in the short time that I have known him.  I have never had anyone treat me with such love and respect as he does.  There has never been a day in my marriage that I have not felt loved.  I am grateful that we never fight!  He is an amazing communicator and I owe my communication skills all to him.  He can always make me smile...even on the worst of days.  He will always let me cry when I need to cry but he always follows up by making me laugh.  I am grateful that he laughs at me because he thinks I am cute, not because he thinks I am weird.  He is a friend to everyone and I admire that about him.  He will take the time to listen when no one else will.  He always notices when someone is struggling, and doesn't let them struggle alone.  I am so grateful that he likes to cook!  Thanks heavens!  He would be in for a rough eternity if he didn't!  The meals he makes are so good even when he isn't trying very hard. :)  I am so grateful that he sees our marriage as a partnership.  There has never been a time when I am working around the house and he will not offer to help no matter how tired or hungry he is.  He is the hardest working person I have ever met.  He will always work hard no matter whether or not he understands why he has to work toward something.  No matter the storms that face us or the trials that come our way, he always has his head held high with confidence in the Lord!  I am so grateful for his testimony and his priesthood, which he loves and respects.  He is a shining example of who I want to be.  I love my husband with ALL of my heart and I hope that he knows that!  If you don't know my husband, you need to! Your life can be better because of him!  I love you Mark Splain!
